Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly hosts, Jamie and Kate, who made me feel right at home from the start. the house itself was a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. the sitting area was cozy and inviting, the kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed, and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the ironing facilities and the complimentary toiletries. The location of Machair House was also top-notch, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape and easy access to the beach. the peaceful garden area was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the island. Overall, I found Machair House to be a fantastic value for the price. the combination of luxury amenities and affordable rates made for a truly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this homely and spacious house to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat on Iona.
